Our Vision
Buckeye Hills Support Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for affordable housing in conjunction with readily accessible services, supports and programming for senior citizens in the Buckeye Hills Regional Council (BHRC) service region.
Through establishing an alliance with BHRC, BHSS can tap into the expertise and experience of BHRC’s staff in the areas of advocacy, service coordination, grants management, budgeting, communications, and intergovernmental relations to bring extensive resources to bear on its housing development projects.
BHSS also provides coordination of supportive services for the senior community projects it develops, contracting with other agencies, nonprofits, and for-profit enterprises as needed. By leveraging BHRC’s long-standing relationships with these organizations, BHSS will ensure a high quality of life for seniors throughout its eight-county region.
