This year, 37 developments throughout Ohio creating or preserving 2,002 apartments for families, seniors and individuals with disabilities were awarded more than $31 million in 10-year federal housing tax credits.

Area agencies have begun signing up to participate in the proposed senior living center near the Washington County Home. If approved, the senior housing, tentatively called Buckeye Fields, will be built on 65 acres of land owned by the Washington County Commission, but leased by Buckeye Hills Support Services (BHSS).
